Just completed having my seat refitted with honey comb gel and padding.
Took a day of vacation, made an appointment and drove up to the outfitter. 2 1/2 hours later, my seat is back together. Cost was $120.
Results 1. I got to keep the special 105th Anniversary stitching on the seat and 2. cost is about 1/3 of a new Sundowner seat.
Seems that the pinpoint pressure on my two pelvic bones is more spreadout across the seat, increasing the comfort somewhat.
Firm claims to have refitted over 350 seats during the past three years with not one comeback.
Anyone else try this solution to improving the seat comfort?
