Raising the Tank

Just got back from Daytona yesterday and saw several Softails (Heritage) with raised tanks thought it looked cool. Any opinions on doing this to my Deluxe? Also, what is required other than the kit a longer fuel line? It gave it a different more chopped look if that makes sense.

Who makes a kit? The one I saw had brackets that looked a little cheap in my opinion.

It seems as though you'll be sacrificing fuel capacity with the front of the tank raised.

40 dollars ? plus shipping. For TPI all you need is the brackets and bolts.I like mine the way it is.:rofl:newsmile100:

I think it looks pretty cool. Subtle, yet different.

I have a rocker made my own out of 1" flat steel, about 15.00 to include extended fuel line and stainless steel bolts and nuts..
