radio wont power up

I just picked up a 02 ultra fixerupper. no power on the radio. but i was wondering if the cb intercom controller has to be in to make the radio work? I just noticed it was sold with every radio on ebay or afytermarket site. i just started messing with this machine.. its missing the cb intercom switches on the dash.. any help would be great. thank you. hopefully fix it and ride the **** out of it .. spring is here!

Welcome to the forum crestwood, under the left side cover is a fuse box, have you checked the radio fuse? I would recommend picking up a service manual from you local dealer, it will walk you through radio & cb electronics.
