Re: '07 Ultra Classic. My external radio/CD speakers began to intermittently fail, leaving me with only helmet speakers. The problem seemed to be associated with the three position dashboard speaker switch. We replaced that with a new Harley switch. No change. Still no external speakers. Any ideas?

It can't be very many things, if you don't have power to the speakers my guess the internal amplifier in the radio is bad.
On mine I can switch from front to rear or in the middle position I have both..
First thing to check if you already haven't is power from radio to speakers.

Have you checked the passenger switch???
