I am adjusting pushrods on a 84 Evo, When the aduster is loosened, should you screw the adjuster back in to allow the lifter to go back to original position. It seems each attempt is making more noise, and the pushrod adjuster is being extended more each time. Shouldnt the adjusted be screwed back in the pushrod a little to start again?
