Pursuit on Speedo

I've got a 1999 FLHR. Been mighty happy with her. Bought used in 2003, with a single owner and 4600 miles. I noticed soon after I brought her home, that with the right lighting angle on the speedo I can read the word Pursuit to the left of the Check Engine 'light'. Was this common on all FLHR's in 1999? I'm pretty sure it was not a Police bike- don't think it would have been for sale with under 5K miles. Hard bag lids have the handles on the sides, not the button on top.

I am going to take a stab at this, I would guess ALL these speedos are the same, just not lit up for the features your bike does not have, My Flrt has icons in the background also

Probably same speedo for both models. The only difference would be that the Police speedo would be certified.
