Thanks for the input guys. I bought the 2000 Wide Glide. First Harley and I'll tell you my girlfriend is (EDITED) ! You know what they say, easier to ask forgiveness than permission.

Its the two tone black and yellow. I'll post some pics soon!

Congrats i under stand about the girlfriend mine wasnt to happy at the first but warmed to it
 
Glad you got the bike you wanted. Sorry about your girlfriend.

I just bought an 06 Road Glide and my better half is thrilled, she can hardly wait for it to warm up so she can go with me. Of course some of her happiness is because I traded in my lowered "Softail", lowering it took out whatever soft was in it. She never complained, but I know she was hurting after a long ride.

My advice, get the bike you want, then find a woman to fit.
