Primary Noise. Chain Tension.

I live in Washington, and went for a putt to Idaho which is about 100 miles from home.
Running non ethanol, and fluids recently changed.
Sounds great when cold and getting warmer.
I've been hearing primary noise.
I've determined that it sounds like chain noise on the compensator.
I Have tightened the chain to spec, levels good, running great. But dang.... The chain noise seems so loud to me.
In Idaho there's no helmet law. So, while there, I rode without for a bit just to listen.
Thats all I could hear. No metal in any of the drained fluids. I'm running 20/50 syn in every thing.
Again, pulled plugs, tighten chain to spec, the compensator seems right on too.
Has anyone ever had the same issue? Where the noise sounds like chain noise, gets louder when hot, but everything seems as it should be?
I wanna hear the Harley ground and pound sound.
Not the tick tick tick of my primary's.
I'm at a loss. Only 16k on Moxie. I love her to the moon and back. But, it's driving me insane it's so loud. I'm sure I'm a little fixated on it now. Lol.
Any help, ideas, thoughts on something else are appreciated.

Is this something new? Now that you're aware of it that's all you're gonna hear. Mine was a little noisy as well no matter what I ran for lubrication.
In my experience running a synthetic based fluid will make the noise even more pronounced.
