I am adding a sound system to the ride and need to be able to charge the Ipod while riding. I have the adapter that the Ipod USB connector goes to. It plugs into a cigarette type outlet. Does it matter + or - connection to the center contact or the two side contacts? Anybody know?

Dan has you covered, but one other thing, make sure that center wire is fused...back at the fuse block, or an inline fuse (typically 7.5A or so. If you use that accessory connector as a cigar lighter, make sure your accessory shell insulator is ceramic so it does not catch on fire (lighter glows red hot and draws 20A or so).
