A friend is in need of a liver transplant. He will require many trips to Boston prior to his transplant. We hope to help him and his family both financially and emotionally through their journey.
If anyone is interested in helping out, there will be a poker ride on Saturday, August 27th to benefit Shawn. It starts at 9:00 am at Mike's Water Street Grill in Gardiner, Maine. We will be riding to the Montsweag Roadhouse in Wiscassett, Joshua's Tavern in Brunswick, Mary's Place in Richmond, then back to Mike's Water Street Grill. The ride will be about 3 hours including the stops to pick up your poker cards. The best hand will win a $250 gift certificate for service at HottRod Baggers in Hallowell. There will also be an auction from 1:30-3:00 at Mike's for which we are looking for donations, and live music from 3:00-7:00.
