HI all,

Bob

I have found that a little gas on a soft cloth. Be patient and take your time. After the tar is gone wash the chrome with soap and water. Nice ride you have there.

WD40 may work as well.

Welcome aboard!

+1 on WD, it may help to warm it up a little. If it's boot goo, you could also try oven cleaner sprayed in something like a solo cup and then rubbed on with a cloth when the mufflers are warm, let it work for awhile and rub it off.

Very nice bike!

If it is baked on bad try some oven cleaner, followed by some chrome polish

Thanks all. I check the bike every day and the tar are just small specks, but wanted to stay ahead of the game before it got worse. :s
