Performance Upgrades-After Breakin ?

Maybe this has been asked before. Do I need to wait untill a certain amount of miles are on the the bike before doing a performance upgrade? Wanting to do Rhinehart slip ons and have no clue on fuel management system. 09 RKC. May not be able to ride for awhile do to recovering from shoulder surg. and thought of doing the upgrade while I'm going crazy looking at the bike. Only has the 7 pre delivery miles on it now. Already did some eye candy stuff. Any input would be great.

Go for it...just change the oil a couple of times before 1000 miles and yer good to go. For fuel management..it depends on your future plans, if your only gonna do intake and exhaust a fuel pack should do you.

Some great info in the self help..I had mine done with pipes, stage 1 air intake and a tuner from day one.Thats what they recomended.

Unless its internal no .. but slip ons and fueal manager lots do before they pick it up
