Anyone had trouble with repositioning the passenger foot rests?
Lowered the right side on my '07 FLHTC - no problem. Left side, bolt would not thread in far enough to tighten down the bracket. Tried the bolt without the footrest and even soaked the thresded hole and the bolt with WD40 figuring it was rust jammed; now a little better but still a fight to get it tight enough. I suspect hole was not threaded deep enough. A buddy with the same bike had similar problem, other side; wound up with shearing off the bolt, didn't know it, and foot rest flew off while on the road...
