Anyone paint the inner fairing the bike color? Is there a single stage paint or does it have to be color then clear? Special paint for plastic? How tough is it to get the inner fairing off?

Check out Fat Baggers, Inc. they have painted inner fairings, the painted batwing inner fairing run $399. They run a exchange program so you will have a core charge that will get refunded when they get your old inner.

Nowadays most paints are two stage, color then a polyurethane clearcoat, years back a lot was done with a single stage such as PPGs acrylic enamels or Duponts Imron, the paints now are amazing stronger and faster curing times.
