Ok do you remove the bikes battery

OK, Stupid me muct have left the ignition on Acc because bike was fine when I put her away on Fri. Today go to get her and she is deader than a door nail. I tried to push her to get her started no joy. So took seat off and it appears that the battery is tucked in behind the oil tank and I could not see how the battery comes out. A friend is loaning me a charger that is 6v and 12 capable. So advice would be great.

Pull the left cover and you should see how the battery comes out.

Do some research on the forum before you do anything, you won't regret it.

If it's a similar set-up as my former 05 XL1200C, you should have access to the battery after pulling the side cover. I could clip the pos/red lead onto the battery & neg/black to the frame for charging. Good Luck!
