When removing screws or bolts that have been treated with thread locker....such as Loctite or Permatex....what product will clean the threads. Or should these screws and bolts be disguarded. Thanks in advance.

Wire wheel, wire brush. I'm sure a good cleaning solvent will work just fine.

Works great , thats all I use. Make sure threads are clean

Thanks guys..I can't believe I didn't think of that ..I got a Dremel Tool with a wire brush attachment..tried it and ..Great outcome...Again thank you guys.
