Oil filter cross use.

Does anyone know if you can use a filter for a TC on an Evo? the only difference I can see at the k&n site is that the Evo filter doesn't have an anti drain back valve.

I believe the micron rating is different. Need to check with a knowledgible dealer. Key word is knowledgible.

As mentioned many times on this site with respect to this subject, stick with the HD oil filter on the TC engines. I have not found an aftermarket filter with the 5 micron rating and the design of the filter marketed by HD for this application. The 5 micron rating is essential to prevent fouling/plugging of the piston skirt spray heads used to help cooling with oil spray to the underside of the pistons.
