This recall applies to 1999 and later Touring models with the P/N 62868-99B Oil Cooler Kit installed.

Yes you are right but there are still many 03's still out there. I posted it because when I bought my 07 from a private seller there was a recall about the battery cable. The original owner never had it fixed because he didn't have the problem. I didn't know about it until I brought it in to the dealer and they ran my VIN. Just putting the info out for those that might have fallen into the same situation. Thanks for the post Tank.:s

OK so this affects the original hookup hoses; not the cooler itself.
Bottom line, check your hoses carefully and if chafed, replace them!
