I don't think I would worry about battery drain. LCD display is the same thing in most watches and you see how long those things last with a little watch battery.

I'll agree with Jack on this one... The reset odometer mileage button Must be sticking some how to keep the mileage light lite..

OR is it more than the mileage light? You say Digits?????? Exactly how many lights?
