My husband said that a really cool ride would be for some couples (or some friends) start out at one point somewhere on the border of this country. One couple goes one direction and the other goes the opposite. They travel the periphery of the U.S. and each night log in and report on their day's adventure (miles, sights, what they dined on, where they stayed, etc.). Somewhere they will meet up and then back track each other's route. I really wish I was retired so we could do that. Six years away........

Sounds like a great idea for a ride. With todays GPS and cell phones and computers you could have quite a following on the internet.
