New to the world of HD

Just got a 2006 XL 1200L with about 25,000 miles on her. It's gonna be a challenge as I have issues with the oil dipstick assembly and leaking fork seal(s). But it starts up and that's a good thing. Will start out with the fundamentals and I will be getting a shop manual soon. Have experience with old BSA's and Triumphs. Guess this Sporty will be marking my turf soon. Glad to be here and to pick any information I can...
