Where did you find the metal? Aluminum or iron? Cut filter open, spread out the media and see what the filter caught. Open th ecam chest and check tensioners for wear. Collect an oil sample and send to Blackstone for analysis. Go to their website and request a collection "kit", they will send free. If you want a more invasive look, pull the cam plate and take a look at the pump internals. Finding some metal does not necessarily mean a major repair but it is important to know what the metal is, where it is coming from and how much is traveling in the oil before making a decision on how to deal with it. Some pictures would be helpful.
