Found a once-in-a-lifetime deal on an '08 Ultra Classic - $16,000 w/749 miles. Only 2-months left on warranty because of elapsed time. I'm old school - and just old - my first injected bike & I'm lost!
I put a set of Rinehart pipes on it and now it wants to idle at 2200 RPM. I'm told I need to have it remapped and dyno'd - that's $hundreds.
Any way out of it? I'm also told that several outfits sell mappers than can be plugged into the bike's computer system to even out the bumps created by the different exhaust system.
Need help. I'm twisting the grip off trying to keep the revs down.
