Had a chance to meet him in the 90's when he visited a publisher I worked for. Pretty cool dude, went out of his way to be cordial and even introduced himself to me...

A good friend of mine is an antitrust lawyer, back when Neil had acquired the Lionel Train company (he wanted to save it for his disabled son, who loved the trains), there was some sort of antitrust action that was brought, my friend went up to his ranch in Canada to do the deposition, says he is the nicest person you could ever meet.

Neil Young is rather unique...great guitars, voice and pitch that takes getting used too and edgy lyrics to be sure. Always liked him from the early days when rock & roll was fusing with country and folk ballads...
