i have a 2002 electric glide and just bought a new trailer to tow behind my bike.was wondering is the stock clutch ok to use or should i get a heavy duty one . do they make a heavy duty? rick

Several co. make a heavy duty clutch that handle high HP high torque motors, and will, I'm sure, handle the extra load that a trailer will add. That being said there are members on here that pull or have pulled trailers and I don't remember any of them using beefed up clutches.

The stock multiplate Harley wet clutch is pretty stout, IMO it will take years of use to wear it out even with a trailer, the key to long clutch life is adjustment
