I worked for NAPA about 20 years, I've used a lot of tubes of Sil-Glyde. It works on a lot of stuff quite well. When later model vehicles did away with drip moldings, everybody had problems with their doors freezing shut in the winter. A light application of Sil-Glyde on the rubber weatherstripping stops that. I've even used it as a gun lube/preservative. I used it on the brake cams on my Jap dirt bikes. Good stuff!
