Moving Handle Bar Mounted Signal Lights

I have an 08 Fatboy and want to move my signal lights to the forks. I have all the studs and spacers to pu then on the bottom where the windshield mounts. My question is where the current wires come out of the handcontrols there is a rubber grommet from the black part of the hand control to the lights. Do those wires go all the way through the bars and come out of the bars near the triple tree. If so I should be able to cut the wires near the lights and pull the wire from the handle bars and use it to go to the position of the new lights. I dont think they would be loomed together in the bars. Thanks

the wires to the lights go all the way to just under the front of the fuel tank, by memory they go through the handlebar loom conduit down the bars so it wont be a walk in the park getting em out. cutting at the switch housings may work. then drag them through from under the bars. good luck
