master cylinder cap

lol i solved one brake problem.....i got a new one.....the cap is leaking around at the left rear corner....did i underthighen?over thighten?maybee i put just a hair to much fluid in?i checked it over and its seated right/good and snug
i noticed it after my moring ride i saw it was shinny looking and sure enough rubbed my finger across it,brake fluid i thought "this is just great"

mine seeps a tiny bit,replaced under warranty,started being damp again a month later. Said to heck with it,if the paint starts bubbling on the master again I will get it changed again.

They vent at the site glass ,not the rubber seal

Ever look for the fill mark inside?

Mine is excactlly at the fill mark and it still weeps a bit.I even checked the spec. and torqued them,which I have never done with a master cyl. cap before.

lol yea i looked for it ha ha glider if you where not just a big help i'd come up with some kinda snazzy comeback but since you tell me how to fix my bike i'll stay hushed lol. you realy think its over filled just a hair? i'm gonna go check and make sure

level looks AOK.if it doesn't go away think i should replace the diaphram?
