Marrying tsm to ecm

00 RK Classic TSM. Had a electrical gremlin for the past week. Bike would turn over but not start. Replaced ckp and bas. Checked volts and ohms on everything. Heard about this marrying procedure and it starts. Question- I had a stage one download at first. Then it has had a PCIII installed. Will I lose the Stage One download after I married it and/or does it matter since I have the PC III. I'm thinking it does not matter because of the PC III. Please tell me I'm right.lol:51:

I do believe once the stage 1 is loaded it will still be there until a new upload is done, would = wiping your home puter clean and installing new program

You shouldn't have to marry a TSM to the ECM because it does not have security in it. A TSSM is married to an ECM.

I thought the same thing, but the Marrying directions tell you specific elements if you only have a TSM. And since I was ready to push the bike outside a let someone steal it,lol, I was willing to try anything. It worked, I hope. Waiting on the CMP and coil. Figured I would replace all sensors because of the age on the bike and I had it torn apart. Test ride on tuesday. We'll see. Thanks
