Lowering a 2009 XL883C

Has anyone here installed a Burly Slammer kit on an '09 883 Custom? Just wondering how the bike felt afterwards and how much lower it actually got. Did you have to put a shorter jiffy stand on? Any issues with the kit? Any opinions or recommendations would be helpful.

Never been a big fan of lowering a bike, it takes away from the handling and can make for an uncomfortable ride as well. You may look into changing seats if reaching the ground is a problem, and thicker soled boots will help
