Lowering 06 1200 custom

Maybe boots first. Would be the least expensive route. Are rear shocks adjustable? If so adjust for softer ride.

We've tried adjusting the shocks and have a Badlander seat. Do you know anything about the lowering kit (brackets)? I am not sure what you mean about bigger soled boots.

Lowering brackets put the shocks at a bad angle IMO from trying them , The shocks dont work good this way, Thicker soled boots will able her to touch the ground a bit easier:s

As Jack has said lowering brackets are a no-no. The bike is liable to ride like a pogo stick. Take her riding boots and ask shoe repair shop if they can add thicker soles and heels to offset the 1" needed.

Ok I get it now, her riding boots. Never thought of that one. I was thinking of something on the bike. I'll try that and lower shocks. I appreciate the advice.
