Lighting question

I have 2 HID lamp kits (Golden Eye), which I had installed on my Yamaha FJR 1300. I have always liked their bright light and the fact that the 'bulb' is very long lasting.

I want to install them on my 2007 Electra Glide standard.

Question: Will it affect my electrical system in a negative way.

I am asking because on Yamaha FJR 1300 the lights do not turn on until the motor starts.

Your thoughts ?

Are you putting them on to replace the passing lamps?

No just the center lamp.
