Left turn signal lights are some times not working

Hello,

I have a 2004 Nighttrain.
My left turn signal light front and rear is not working. I made no changes on the electrical system lately and I've never had problems before. Its not blinking on the leftside also when the alarm sets on or off. Sometimes it works unexpactively:shock. I think its a bad connection somewhere in the wiring.
Does anyone of you has had this problem?
Maybe there's an easy solution instead of long trouble shooting

Start with checking/cleaning the sockets and try another bulb in the front and rear, maybe switch the left bulbs with the right bulbs checking to see if they are the right number bulbs. If not then get into the wiring.

I will check the bulbs and sockets first (although I'm thinking of a sort of central problem). Anyhow, it's a good thing to start with.
