Kuryakin Inner primary

Just installed Kuyyakyn Chrome inner primary cover,does't seem to fit that well, won't sit down on inside. Should go down about another 1/2 inch, my flame shift arm cover hits slightly. Anyone come up with a solution,it cant be bent to fit because it is cast and will break (been there done that on the first one)

Are you sure you got the right part number for your bike. I put one on my 07RK and it fit like a glove.

I ordered one for my 2003 FLHTPI and it fit perfectly. I agree with glider, maybe you ended up with the wrong part.

I also put one on my 07 RKC and like Glider's, it fit perfectly and looks great. Sure you got the correct part number and followed instructions step by step?

Wasn't it fun putting on the rear piece (extension) of that cover between the frame and primary where it bolts together?
