I think you're beating a dead horse here dbmg. We all like most everything Harley and S&S builds a great motor, but didn't the MOCO try to give the Harley faithful something like this with the Buell? The cost tells me that we are looking at someone with money that needed a hobby and likes motorcycles. Maybe some of his rich friends will buy them but for the average Joe this is not what he's looking for in a Harley and would have to mortgage the farm to just put up the down payment.
 
Its more of a boutique custom than a main stream motorcycle. If and when it is able to entice a select few with the high entry fee, I do not believe you will see any on the road except at bike shows.
 
Cool to look at but man I just can't imagine paying that much for a car much less a scooter. Would like to ride it once just for grins and giggles.
