JIMS 124 motor advice

Hi guys (and gals!) has anyone ever fitted the JIMS 124 in counterbalanced motor into a stock softtail? I am considering this as opposed to keeping my 95 in with se 203 cams. Any comments welcome!

Thanks Zach.

To go 124 from 95 will require a new crank (4-5/8" stroke) as well as cylinders/pistons. Unless you're just stuck on Jims you might consider an S&S crank and Axtell cylinders/pistons. Cases will have to be bored regardless and you'll want to do the Timken bearing install while the crank is changed out.

Hi GT, I was thinking of buying a complete motor assembly, saw them advertised in Hot Bike magazine, they do a counterbalanced version for the softail chassis. Just wondered if anyone had done it already.

Thanks Zach
