jacking up 08 super glide

any tips on the correct way to jack up a super glide? I have the red sears motorcycle lift. looks to be a lip on the right side of the bike and not sure if that will bend.
 
they make rubber mounts that go on the bottom of your bike for use with a lift,this makes the bike level for lifting, don't forget to strap it down first, you can get them at harley, jpcycles, I think sears has them, not sure
