Iron 883 - Wider Forks?

Hey everyone. I've been wanting an Iron 883, like the price. However, with the introduction of the new 48, I have thought about some things. My dealership here in town said they can do me an Iron 883 out the door for $7000. How much would forward controls and a wider front tire run me? Or, should I just go for the 48? (the tank is SO SMALL, tho)

i have a 94 sporty that im in the process of rebuilding and the front end is one of the things im changing to a wideglide springer but im also going from a 19inch rim to a 21inch without any problems my cost will be just under $1000 for the whole setup (australian $$$)
