installing oil temp gauge wrong wire?

on a 2008 flhtc the new wire part #69200297 that connects from oil pan to gauge has the wrong connector to plug into the oil temp gauge. Does anyone know if I have wrong wire. My oil temp gauge kit part # is 70900283

If you have the kit that Jack posted in #2 above, it should just be an easy install. If you are having problems, then check the instructions again and walk through each step to make sure nothing has been overlooked. This is the set I used to replace the air temp. gauge on my UC, and it was a very simple swap out.
