This is what the problem is . I have a 1995 Ultra classic. I can remove the top of the switch but I'm not sure how to get the electriaL part out from the faring . do I need to remove the outer faring and the inner also. all I have read only looks at the top part .

OK got it out
this is what I had to do .
1 take the top part of switch off.
2 take front fairing off
3remove raido
4 removeraido bracket
5 remove clutch handel clamp
6 remove brake handel clamp
7 remove clamps for handel bars then pick up inner faring over switch lean it forward
the ignition switch is looking at you unplug cable and remove :bigsmiley23:
