If you haven't got enough Winter

Ha-ha! Evidently we haven't because we are up in Maggie Valley and it is winter.
The snow pictures with frosty, the kids and grand kids are up at Newfound Gap, elevation~ 5900 ft.
The vista is the view from our cabin. Going back inside now brrrrrr!

We have had some of the white stuff over the last month or so the dogs loved diving into it the kids loved sliding on it we had no traffic passing our house couldnt get milk or bread as the shops didnt get supplies
all gone now however perhaps more this week we shall see
even though it is now officially spring i will leave the winter tyres on the car

Took the studs off the truck last Thursay and 2 days later woke up to 2 inches of snow, next day all melted away.
Should get close to 50 deg and clear skies today.

That little town at the base of the valley,looks like a picture.Very nice.We're in the 50's last 2 days around Chicago,go figure.

This winter was a strange one. We pretty much rode straight through until the end of Feb here in NY, then March was just shut down with snowstorm after snowstorm and way too much salt on the roads to ride in between. Just when it seemed like it was over and I’ve been getting back out, we’ve got 3” predicted for tonight LOL!

It’s April! C’mon already!

We got frozen saturday night sunday morning habitation battery failed in the campervan and the heating system shut down water in the dog bowl froze solid so came home
Woke up to snow this morning and more throughout the day more coming during this week

Normally mid 60's here by now Sun and 40 today. Rain/snow mix for the rest of the week
