how do I set the Idle on my 2010 Sportster 883 ????
It is controlled through the ECM. No adjustments available. If idle out of spec bike will be performing poorly and or check engine light on. Question is why do you want to change idle setting????
Seems like the bike idols a little too fast. But no big deal. Thanks for the info !

If the IDLE is off to the HD specks, It should be looked at by the service at HD... There should be NO charge to have the Tech listen to it and if it IS out , the warranty will cover the setting..
The conversion to FI in 07 and up on ALL sportsters was a good thing from what I seen over the years BUT I Like My 1200R 06 model that is carbed... stage one and still gets 48/50 per gallon
Nice to hear from a 883 rider... That was my first "owned" Harley,,,,, When I wore out the 883 size, I rebuilt the top end to 1200 and high compression... It Could climb a telephone pole if I wasn't careful..
