how to set the idle speed on the delphi efi.

Don't think you can. it's all computer controlled. I wanted to do that on my '06 dyna to get that potato...potato sound, but was told no good.

Ya, read somewhere on here that its an oil pressure issue, and we wouldn't want to hurt our engine how, would we!

Hey Smiesner,

I had the same question a while ago and a long discussion stared with all the pro's (not that many) and cons (a whole lot) of trying this on an EFI bike.

DT II will only set the idle about 100 rpm lower than it already is and its a bad idea.

thanks for the info. but wasnt going for the sound. i changed exhaust & now it idles too high. i think due too back pressure.

There are not way to adjust it with a screwdriver, has to be done electronically.
