humming coming from heads

whats up guys, ok I have a revtech 88 that is almost brand new its a 2005 motor but only has about 50 miles on it ...if that. It just sat for the last 5 years in my dads garage. the starter gear is worn so I have to kick start it. well I noticed that when it warms up I hear a weird hum or flute like sound coming from the heads. almost sounds like a harmonica. when I turn the bike off and kick it soft (just enough to move the pistons ) I can really hear the noise. when it is cold no noise what so ever. just want to know is this normal tp hear this sound? or maybe everything still needs to be broke in. any ideas will be much appreciated. thanks ....

If it were more high pitched I'd say you might try retorquing the heads. Have you tried to see if the exhaust flanges are tight?

You have to teach it the words, then it will stop humming.

sorry, I know your question was/is serious but I couldn't resist. :D

I would have a look at the valve springs:s Have seen and heard this before JMO:s
