How long will the 2002 88b balancers last are there any issues

How long will the 2002 88b balancers last? are there any issues with the balancer's bearings the drive chain or the tensioners. I changed out the cam bearings for Jims bearings added new chain tensioners and replaced the cam chains at 50K have been running a oil cooler from day one. which I think helps the engine stay cooler with the plastic parts lasting loner in the engine.

The main issue with the balancer assembly in the softal line is that the crankshaft sprocket is "indexed" to the crank and is an interference press fit to the cranks. Under hard use or abuse, the sprocket can shift and throw the rotating assembly out of balance. Of course, the tensioners will wear over time but as many softails running around as there are, there is no anecdotal evidence to indicate that there is a particular point at which the tensioners should be replaced. With regular and adequate lubrication, no abuse (wheelies, burnouts, etc.) the balance assembly should see 75K-100K milles; longer than most will own the motorcycle.;)

that is great to know, and less to worry about. That was the plan to get another 50K out of the bike. Then have a complete rebuilt on the motor and transmission. the motorcycle has been bullet proof so far. Thank you, dolt, for the info.
