Hooker Tuned-Flow Slip-Ons

Hooker is well known for automotive applications, didn't know they made bike stuff. I wonder what "tuned flow" is all about.
 
I put Hooker slip on mufflers back in 2004 on my 03 RKC.
Lots of years between then and now for my response.
After the first year they began to show rock pits in the chrome that led to rust spots.
The shop I bought them from replaced them under warranty.
But I will bet he ate them.
The sound was good.
They fit properly.
I'm sure the current product is better than what I had.
 
I had Hooker pipes on my 89 flhtcu when I got her... They sounded GREAT. However the baffle fell out of one which I was able to retrieve and bolted it back it. Then the ring holding the other one detached. I didn't want to but I opted to replace them... Moved on to a thunder header with a falsey.... Lot less problems and definitely louder.
 
Rush and Fuel Moto (Jackpots) are probably the two best sounding and peforming slip ons in the aftermarket today. Don't 'know if Rinehart still makes them for the early models but if so, also a quality product.;)
