Hit a deer

So,I hit a deer in Northern Wisconsin over the weekend. Passing lights and turn signals are gone. Dented fender and tank. I was doing about 55 mph and the deer jumped out of nowhere. Hit it right in the middle and it did not make Me lose control. It did release It's bowels all over My jacket and Bike.Which is better than being dead. Man, I am glad I had a fairing and full windshield.

Wowie, one of my worst fears and you made it thru unscathed, you are living right and lucky. Good job getting thru it. The fairing is what saved you and your bike doesn't look that bad.
On a lighter side..do you like venison

Yep, I had total loss coverage and They paid enough for a new bike.See avatar.

Must have bent the frame to become a total.
Glad your alright.
Hitting a deer is on my list of things to avoid but you can only try to be aware and alert as they are like magic.
One minute road is clear next minute there's a deer.
