Got lid back on but hate the cheap hinge look. I used #8 SS bolt and fasteners to reinstall.

Has anyone put the New type hinge cover over bolts? I'm afraid they may cover just rivets.
 
Kuryakyn makes hinge covers for the tour pack, covers the whole thing, $40.
I think I like the HD chrome hinge that TQ linked in his post better, $50.
 
The HD replacement hinges are a bit of a pain to install, but they work and look great. Match the latches very well and makes a matched system.
 
I've got the premium hinges TQ provided the link to and I love them. Hard to believe how something so small can improve the looks of your ride.
 
Never have understood why a twenty-thousand dollar motorcycle would have a set of thirty-nine cent hinges.

Installed the HD Premium Hinges - Looks great and a perfect match to the latch. And I agree, this is one change that everyone seems to notice.
