High idle on cold start

I have a 2004 Electra glide bone stock , serviced and maintained as it should . The other night it sat for a few hours after a 20 min ride . I went and start it and it was up a it was idling between 2500-3500 rpms . It was plenty warm so it wasn’t because it was cold . Any help would be great

I will agree with ThunderRogue, he has got you going in the right direction. Sounds like a dirty intake.

Also try resetting throttle grip sensor position.
I think the procedure is;
Both kill switch and ignition switch off,
Kill switch on.
Than ignition switch on 10 seconds, off, on 10 seconds, off.
For a total of 4 times.
If it doesn't relearn the zero setting for the throttle grip position sensor try the same procedure but with the ignition switch on and cycling the kill switch 4 times , run position 10 seconds, off, run 10 seconds again for a total of 4 times ending in kill position than ignition off.
Position memory is rest at each shut down so if the throttle had been twisted during shut down the new sensor zero position is than the degree of throttle grip rotation.
This was a common problem for HD EFI bikes for the eary 2000's and I believe that yours is with in those years.
