I have a pair of 16" H-D OEM Chrome Spoked Wheels from my 2008 Heritage Softail Classic. I am selling these wheels and someone with a 1998 Road King wants to buy them.
I was told by the local H-D dealer service department that the wheels will not fit or safely install on the Road King because it has something to do with the fact that the Road King has front dual brake rotors vs. the Softail single front brake rotor, etc., etc., etc.
Can someone here confirm this. The buyer is anxious to buy these. It really isn't my responsibility to know this; he should research this, but I am curious to know.
I'd hate to sell them to him only for him to discover they will not fit his bike.
